2026 marks the 70th Anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh`s Award.  The Birmingham DoE Award Association Charity has been involved in one form or another since the beginning.

To mark the occasion the Charity Trustees have put a £100 prize for the Award participant who submits the best 200 word story about their Award.  It can be about one section or the whole Award.  It can be about your feelings, or humourous events as you have taken part.

The story must be a maximum of 200 words, and sent with your name, contact details, Award you are participating in and organisation, school or group to:    bhamdoeawardassoc@gmail.com  

Entries must be received by 31st December 2026.
